The Law Society is seeking to revise the forms completed by Seller's when looking to sell residential property. The update is to try and accommodate changes in the types of additional enquiries being raised by the Buyer's Solicitors and to cut down on the time required to answer these queries and have more knowledge of the properties from the outset. read more...
Mixed Up Wills have no value in Law

A mix-up in the signing of mirror Wills led to the Court of Appeal ruling that they were invalid. A couple (Mr and Mrs Rawlings) prepared mirror wills leaving everything to each other or if they had both died, to a friend who they had treated as a son. However, Mr Rawlings mistakenly signed Mrs Rawlings’ will and vice versa. This mistake was not spotted until Mr Rawlings, having survived his wife by 3 years, died in 2006. read more...
Land Registry push for title restriction
