  • Mixed Up Wills have no value in Law

    A mix-up in the signing of mirror Wills led to the Court of Appeal ruling that they were invalid. A couple (Mr and Mrs Rawlings) prepared mirror wills leaving everything to each other or if they had both died, to a friend who they had treated as a son. However, Mr Rawlings mistakenly signed Mrs Rawlings’ will and vice versa. This mistake was not spotted until Mr Rawlings, having survived his wife by 3 years, died in 2006. read more...
